I am beyond thrilled to have received the letter to the left this morning…from a large law firm whose landlord is one of the most professional, yet toughest, around to negotiate lower rents and more concessions from…much less make changes to the lease contract itself!
How did my relationship with this firm start? He challenged me to review and analyze his existing lease and landlord building operating expense pass throughs…no one else calling on him offered that. He must have liked the work as he quickly engaged me after I suggested over 75 changes to his lease, as well as multiple levels of protection against building pass throughs that his prior broker never even addressed.
Challenge me as well! What can you possibly lose? As a minimum it will validate you sticking with the broker with whom you already have…"a relationship.”
